COMMON ENGINEERING PROBLEMS
Focused engineering investigations & technical documentation
Explore focused engineering support for equipment performance, bioreactor development, CAD reconstruction and manufacturing documentation.
Heat Exchanger Performance Investigation
Pressure drop higher than predicted? Heat transfer lower than expected? I investigate the flow and thermal behaviour behind the discrepancy.
View investigation →FLUID SYSTEMS & INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENTFlow Distribution & Pressure-Loss Analysis
Excessive pressure loss, uneven branch flow or recirculation? I examine where the losses occur and how geometry affects distribution.
View investigation →FLUID SYSTEMS & INDUSTRIAL EQUIPMENTIndustrial Mixing & Reactor Flow Analysis
Poor mixing, stagnant regions or an unsuitable residence-time distribution? I evaluate the internal flow and the effect of proposed design changes.
View investigation →BIOPHARMA / CHO CELL CULTURECHO Bioreactor CFD & Cell Culture Engineering
CHO stirred-tank CFD for mixing, dissolved-oxygen gradients, mechanical exposure and impeller or scale-up decisions. Quantitative cell-viability prediction requires separate calibration.
Explore bioreactor CFD →3D SCANNING / SCAN-TO-CAD3D Scanning & CAD Reconstruction
Missing usable CAD for an existing part or assembly? Capture accessible geometry and reconstruct surfaces or solids for redesign, analysis and manufacture.
Explore reconstruction service →REVERSE ENGINEERING / DOCUMENTATIONTechnical Drawings from Existing Parts
Convert measured or scanned geometry into dimensioned drawings, reconstructed CAD and manufacturing documentation, with agreed tolerances and clearly identified assumptions.

CLIENT PERSPECTIVE
Client feedback
A selection of reviews from completed Upwork contracts. The reviews page includes the full text and supporting screenshots.
“My company had a complicated CFD analysis to perform. Bojan successfully modeled it, provided insightful feedback and re-ran the analysis after we adjusted things based on his feedback. He provided a comprehensive report at the finish and was professional at all times. The project was at times slow but this may have been due to the complexity. I would re-use Bojan and recommend him for other CFD projects.”
“Amazing CFD skills. Definitely will hire again.”
“Great communication and high quality of work.”
HOW I WORK
How I approach an engineering study
I define the scope and required inputs before modelling, check the numerical setup, and document what the results do and do not establish.
Define the scope
Agree on the engineering question, available data, operating conditions and deliverables.
Prepare the model
Prepare geometry, mesh, boundary conditions and the required simulation cases.
Check the results
Review convergence, numerical sensitivity and the limits of the assumptions used.
Report the findings
Provide results, interpretation, limitations and recommendations for the agreed scope.
FOR ENGINEERING TEAMS
Specialist analysis when your team needs extra capacity
I support product-development groups and established consultancies with defined CFD, numerical-analysis, geometry-reconstruction and technical-review tasks. I work with supplied CAD and requirements, agree input handoffs, and deliver documented results for your engineering team to review.
Subcontracted engineering work
Scope, confidentiality, checkpoints, deliverable formats and change requests are agreed before work starts.
Discuss a subcontracting requirement →WORK WITH HELICON
