Information collected

The enquiry form requests your name, email address and a description of the engineering question. Company name, project inputs, deliverable requirements and timeframe are optional. The anti-spam service may process technical connection information such as IP address and browser signals.

Purpose and legal basis

I use this information to respond to your enquiry, decide whether an engagement is appropriate and discuss scope and deliverables. This is generally based on legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, or on taking steps at your request before a contract. Where a project proceeds, contractual and legally required record-keeping obligations may apply.

Service providers and international processing

This website is hosted using Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Turnstile for automated-submission protection. When you submit the enquiry form, the information is sent directly to Formspree, which processes the submission and delivers a notification to the designated recipient. These providers may process personal information outside the European Economic Area. Transfers outside the European Economic Area, where applicable, are handled under the service providers’ applicable data-protection arrangements, including transfer safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. See the providers’ published privacy notices for more information. The business is responsible for verifying that the arrangements used for this website remain appropriate.

Retention

Enquiry correspondence is retained while it remains relevant to answering requests, discussing potential work, maintaining an active business relationship, or documenting legitimate commercial matters. Retention is assessed based on the nature of the enquiry, the last substantive exchange, whether an engagement followed, and any unresolved contractual or legal matters; there is no automatic 12-month deletion rule. Information that is no longer needed for a legitimate purpose must be removed. Records relating to contracts, accounting, or legal claims may need to be kept for longer as required or permitted by applicable law. You can request erasure through the contact form, subject to applicable exceptions.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability where applicable, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), the supervisory authority in Croatia.
